ADELA’S YOGA CLASSES
Hatha Yoga:
Wednesday Mornings 9.30-11.00am.
Evening: 8.30-10.00pm. 6 weeks €60. Limited places
Yoga is for everyone. The regular practise of yoga helps to build muscle strength and tone; helps improve posture and flexibility; and also helps improve the functioning of all body systems and will help to calm the mind, allowing a state o awareness, tranquility, harmony and peace. The practice of yoga includes asanas (postures), breath work, mediation and relaxation.
Therapy Yoga:
Wednesday Mornings 11.15am-12.30pm. 6 weeks, €60. Limited Places.
Therapy Yoga is a very gentle yoga practice which includes breath work, gentle stretches and postures, meditation and relaxation. It is suitable for absolutely everybody, including people with ‘health issues’ (such as poor mobility, recovering from illnesses or surgery, scoliosis, arthritis, MS, fibromyalgia, cancer, etc). Yoga therapy helps improving health on all levels (physically, emotionally and mentally) by restoring inner harmony and balance.
Practice of a complete yoga therapy programme can restore natural balance and harmony, bringing positive good health to all parts of life – physical, mental and spiritual. Modern medicine and ancient yogic therapies should be used together. In this way, yoga can help to maximise the effectiveness of modern treatments.
Yoga for Pregnancy:
Wednesday 7.15-8.15pm, 6 weeks €70. Limited places.
Yoga for Pregnancy is a wonderful discipline to practice while expecting. Yoga helps increasing the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth, improves sleep, reduces stress and anxiety, also decreases lower back pain nausea, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches and shortness of breath, increases stamina and awareness of breathing and is deeply relaxing for both Mum and Baby.
A pregnancy yoga class will include breath work, gentle stretching, postures, meditation and meditation. The exercises and breathing work will help prepare for labour and increase confidence in the body’s ability to birth the baby with as much ease as possible. There is a huge emphasis on breathing throughout the class to keep the mind focused and relaxed and to release tension and stress. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
Classes suitable from 15 weeks.
All Adela’s classes start on Wednesday 17th of Sept and run for 6 weeks.
